It's one thing to vacation in Hawaii; it's a whole different experience to actually live in Hawaii. Be cautious!

I watched your “Cons of living in East Hawaii” and there were so many negatives that I was scared to watch this one. This wasn’t negative at all :) I am one of those who are in mid 40s, short term renting their Kona home until I can retire early and move there. Thanks for the great information!

Please talk about the squatters and home break ins. What is the state and local police doing about it ?

I love the coqui frogs in background even though I know they're invasive, it reminds me of being there. We visited the Big Island exactly one year ago today for 2 weeks and my husband and I would love to buy a home there at some point when we retire. We have a few years left but we're looking forward to it. We have been to all of the islands but Big Island really impressed us! Mahalo for this video!

The guy makes going to Oahu sound like a breeze, imagine feeling sick and weak and doing this much traveling. Different story altogether. These folks are trying to sell you something.

You can also exchange with neighbors - people who want to go inland for holidays COULD AIR B&B their place to your kids want to come to HI.

This was fantastic! Exactly the advice I’ve needed. I’ll be 64 this year, have been working towards a move to BI this year, I would be there already if it were not for the resistance of my grown children. I’ll attempt to request them each to watch this particular episode. Thank you thank you!

The coqui frogs are right on time as the sun sets on another great show. Big fan. Not quite at retirement age, but looking to get on the island ASAP.

You talk about medical treatments for working people. Most retirees have Medicare not private insurance. Your experiences might not be the same. Certanly warrants a different view. Sorry lance my doctor and our hospital all have free parking. (Small community of 230,000)

Many elderly on big island get "free" flights to Oahu for medical care or big surgery

Hi guys! How long would you guess the wait is to get in with a doctor as a new resident? Here in FL I had a 3 month wait to become an established patient with my physician.

I am here now and one major factor I noticed from Maui and Oahu are the large amounts of low income mainlander transplants. The island is very void of locals and is now ghetto. Having walmarts in all parts of the big island would be fitting.

We will be in K-K for 2 weeks in June and would love to connect with you to find a volunteer activity to do while we are there. Hope this is possible. Mahalo

Do you have any videos for disabled ppl as well? We've been watching your channel for years.

What can we film to help you understand moving here as a disabled person? I’d say the big drawback is our healthcare system.

I'm the same age, and have the same amount of cash. Thinking I'm going to work my way in. The wife wants to live next to her friend in Manini. (We would have to win the lottery for that). Good luck comrade👍

don't talk to a realtor (no offense). Talk to a reputable financial advisor for guidance on what you can truly afford and how to make your money work for you to sustain your financial health through retirement.

And, can you use Uber on the islands instead of paying for parking?
@365HawaiiRealEstateInfo9 ай бұрын
We barely have folks driving for Uber or Lyft!

If you are looking at hilo, parking isn’t as big of a problem like kona.
