Until you use it you don't realise the flap does not hinder getting things in and out and why it's so useful to have it when sometimes you don't zip it up.

I’ve had my puzzle since 2016 and I really love it because it goes with all of my outfits. I never feel like I have to dress around this bag. I think you’re right that it comes down to if the modern aesthetic of the bag matches your style. If it doesn’t match your style easily then you’re not going to be inclined to use it. Doesn’t matter how many pro and con lists you make or if it’s considered classic or not. If it doesn’t feel like you can grab it and go with whatever you’re wearing then don’t get it

Interestingly, that in a *preluxs* , the inside sewing at the handles is more carefully made (leather is not so frayed), than in the original one.

I think your last point about whether it is a "true classic" bag and that it is a more modern silhouette is what convinced me to not buy it for myself. It's not a straight forward bag at all, but it is a unique piece. I like the flap over the main compartment because it makes me feel safer when I wear it out, especially when I'm in Europe where it is pickpocket central. It also is so nonclassical in its shape and structure, and I find that it always manages to fit things I would not expect (like a whole iPad without issue), without being a massive tote. Overall, I'm quite happy with my bag.

@Tanner Leatherstein dissected the Loewe puzzle- exterior leather is nice but I can’t remember if canvas or fabric in the inside. To me, the price really reflects the name, not the overall bag (materials, hardware and craftsmanship) I also have too many bags that can serve the same function 😅

I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one *preluxs* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym
