Hi, If the problem is Consecutive ODD integers, are we going to use the equation (x)+(x+3)+(x+5)+(x+7)..... ??? just like on the question number 1 (but you used the consecutive even equation) . Because you mentioned in the last problem that you're about to used the consecutive even equation because the problem is looking for consecutive even integers? or if we're going to used an equation, is it always to use the equation x+(x+2)+(x+4)..... please enlighten me. Thank you!
@just-pure-chaos4 жыл бұрын
Odd or even consecutive integers always have an even differences. Or a difference of 2 or 4 or 6 i.e. 3, (3+2=5) 5, (3+4=7) 7 or 3, 5, 7 etc.
@@yourmissingc0ckring759 This is wrong lmao, just like what the person above you said, both odd and even has even differences. If we use your equation for odd and we use an odd number (for example the number 1), we will get 1 + (1+1) + (1+3) + (1+5) = 1, 2, 4, 6 (which is NOT a set of odd numbers)

MR. Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for another exceptional video/lecture on Consecutive Integers Word Problems. There is an error in one of your examples that include even and odd integers. I think you used even integers instead of odd integers. Please correct this error in the video.

3, 3 + 2, 3 + 4 those are consecutive odd integer if you replace every 3 by x you get x, x+2, x+4
@rajeevrana0095 жыл бұрын
Even integers end in 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8. Odd integers end in 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9.

@sabbirahmedchoudhury84893 жыл бұрын
To translate letters in a string to numbers, you can use an array formula based on the TEXTJOIN and VLOOKUP functions, with a defined translation table to provide the necessary lookups.
