"For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required~". Fulfilling deeds require sacrifice. I'd rather follow God and serve higher purpose than that of bird whose callings are much less.

Hi Jane….we should never think God (Heavenly Father) and His Son Jesus Christ would ever stop loving each of us on this earth regardless of sins, regardless of any self imposed judgement we place on ourselves. When we feel we are at odds with God that’s the best time to pray to Him. He wants us individually to develop a rock solid relationship with Him and His Son. In the comment you made a reference to tithing being a challenge. I encourage you to take it to Him in prayer and ask for help to get on the path and for ideas of how to make ends meet so you can pay tithing and not have unmet needs. The answer might involve a significant act of faith on your part but He will not leave you hanged by. Be ready with a pen and paper because I guarantee if you are sincere about your petition, He will answer you and speak to your mind and heart. Be prepared to listen like you’ve never listened before and wait and if needed plead for direction. It will come to you, maybe not in an instant, maybe not the first or the tenth prayer (you understand my drift) but He will not let a child of His go unanswered who sincerely seeks for guidance and help. I’ve been there many times and the answers come in many ways. May God bless you. Don’t give up.

Yes...I have had people telling me the same thing. They don't understand the words. Their hearing is going, and the words are so important!
