People that give crap away for a sale ruin it for l of us. If i have a 1 of a kind item, i always raise the price more then the last that sold, most resellers wld just take the last price and do that, heck no not for rare items when im the only listing, if a buyer wants it they will pay.
@goldenstatepicker7 ай бұрын
That's how I try to roll. You will see what those two items sold for in another video soon.

My sales on ebay dropped over 75%. While I have been listing, I was binge listing: listing several items in one day, then list nothing for several days. I knew this was not going to work. So I adopted "Operation List Daily". So now I make sure I list every day. If I binge list, I'll save as drafts and put them up in subsequent days. And guess what, my sales are back up to the old "normal". Better yet, I have been both addressing my death pile of easy to list stuff and new incoming finds. Any time I sell one of those death items (sold one this morning) its a reminder, "GET STUFF LISTED".

In the Buffalo Country was originally published in Harpers Magazine in 3 installments. It is the story of Leiutenant Brewerton's trip over the Sante Fe Trail in 1848-1849. It has the original engraving illustrations from Harpers. Probably was published again by Osborne in 1970. Selling for $40 on Abe, Biblio and ZVAB and $25 on Alibris, Abe. Currently none listed on ebay.

Great video Mike can't you do a draft bank of listing for when you're away. I actually got one of those desk organizers for free. A while ago, I was driving down my street and my neighbour had one sticking out of their recycling bin. I thought to myself what's that and I went over and it looked brand new. Been using, I hate waste. Cheers Graham

Another good one Mike!! Feel horrible for those kids and the situation the parents have put them in, but they have to be accountable for what they've done - of course they get the presumption of innocence until proven guily. As for your three items, I like them all. I love the MCM desk organizer for my own use since I'm a child of the 60s, but I'd probably take the ashtray in a heartbeat to sell since I've got a stash of about 400+ vintage advertising ashtrays of my own to sell - the one you have is very unique and I suspect pretty rare. And you're right, you can't give up - we all have ebbs and flows but you have to have the stick-to-it-ive-ness to succeed.

I don't buy a lot of record albums. I stumbled across some Sun Records. No Elvis, unfortunately, but one Johnny Cash and one Jerry Lee Lewis. Also, some KISS, Led Zeppelin, and several others (obviously these are not Sun Records) . I only paid 25 cents each, so not too bad. They aren't in pristine condition. It is very difficult to find them in that kind of condition. Oh, and I was testing the KISS Alive II and the belt fell off the little Crosley that I use to test. Turns out the belt is too stretched and I had to order another. Now I have to wait to test the rest. LOL

Basically anything that is in your profit range using ScoutIQ. I would put on Amazon. Other books like lots of books ex: 20 dr Seuss books go to eBay. Some longer tail Also go on eBay. Just watch my video and you will see the books I sell on eBay as I show them.

Very poor choices by the parents who will no longer be in their childrens lives. Thanks for reminding us that these dodgy businesses exist Mike. Its something for us all to keep an eye out for and avoid associating with. It can also help us understand some peoples jaded views of resellers, they could be viewing us as thieves 👀 unfortunately.
