I loved the first grip they made, but the process of removing it (peeling it from the side) repeatedly messed with my joy cons connection to my switch. This looks like they addressed having to peel it off from the side, which is all I wanted.

Does the switch dock bend a little bit forward at all once you insert it into the dock with the grip on? Will it damage the dock later on? Just asking.

The sticky dots are used for the sides of the grip. If you feel its a bit loose you place two sticky dots one side where the plastic touches the sides of the joycons. If it still feels loose you can add two more on the other side. I places two on the right side and one under the locking clip. There is a small gap under the locking clip and i noticed my switch would move up. Adding one sticky pad there helps keep the switch in place. Unfortunately I have noticed my joycons have slightly scratched at the joycons. But it only noticeable when looking at a angle with direct sunlight. But overall its still a great grip, just have to be carful removing and putting on the grip.

Love you reviews mate, I’ve been using satisfye for my grips on the switch, but I tried the original black skull an co grip case you suggested with the 1st edition switch but I have to admit I hated it 😔 as the new satisfye oled isn’t available yet I was looking for a grip for now but does this feel like other skull an co grips or does it feel like the satisfye grip? Thank you for the indepth video. I was honestly gonna wait till Satisfye came out with a all black color because I'm not a fan of white. But I saw Skull & Co from another KZbinr today who happened to have a switch oled early and did several videos on it. Any I looked up the Skull & Co grip and was happy to see a black gripcase as well as multiple colors grips for them. Your video definitely sold me on this case and I may end up loving it more than my Satisfye which is the first generation grip that doesn't have all the red bumpers haha. Was a very early adopter for Satisfye.

I'm still waiting for mine. I actually pre-ordered this grip for my V2 switch but by straight chance ended up finding an OLED model on a store shelf. I had the crystal model and wasn't a fan of that one at all, the material it's made of has a feel I just don't like.

Just got my Neo grip in yesterday and it didn't come with any of the extra things you showed off. Fairly disappointed with this as without the black dots the grip doesn't feel tight. It also creaks and moves a lot. All in all I'm not Satisfyed (😂) with this. I absolutely love the case though. Definitely the best part of the package.

Hey dude just wanted to say skull and co neo geo Oled grip came today your review did not disappoint it’s the best case out of 3 models tried heystop was ok and a cheap and nasty was well cheap and nasty. I can’t recommend it enough. The trigger grips make it feel soooo good. They could sell rubber grip skins for the changeable handles and I would buy em but otherwise it’s such a good investment.

Thanks. As for the locking piece. If you’re just sat down it’s fine. I’d say you need to lock it if you can or if you’re transporting it or anywhere that it may move. But the switch definitely won’t slip out easily without it. HTH

You don’t NEED it but it helps secure both switch’s in just in case. It doesn’t slip out easily but could come out when travelling or shaking it

I just ordered this bundle. I was actually looking for some drop protection more than added grip. It’s hard to find a shell that a) docks b) allows for stand to open and c) fits in a case that will fit the charger. The old crystal case looks like more protection for a drop, crossing my fingers for drop protection as my 9 yr old will be using.

i just got this for my oled switch..unfortunately my grip did NOT come with the spacer configured for the oled model..it came assembled for the original switch..hopefully u dont have the same outcome as me...other than that it feels great on my OG V2 switch

No it doesn’t stand up, you’d need to use the switch’s kickstand. Which is excellent on the OLED

But with satisfy you cannot adjust the grip size for me their grip was a little big for my hands but gave a prefect right thumb position. But overall I like the skull n co more. Better customisation and different size grips to fit all hand sizes

It's almost like they where waiting for the day after I bought my crystal grip just to announce this upgrade. That's Murphy's Law for you. At least if I ever do upgrade, I can transfer my Zelda color snap grip set over to the Neo grip as both the Neo & Crystal use the same snap grip set as shown in your video.
