He does... That's why Illinois has (or at least did back in the 80s) a sentence called "Natural Life & A Death Day"... After you die they hold your body for 3 days (72 hours) to make sure you're not faking it somehow...& I'm assuming that if they bring you back it's not considered an end to the sentence... But if you have just a regular life/natural life sentence it is a valid claim I'm thinking. Acts of God (tornado/earthquake/etc) that damage the prison & provide you an escape that is free of guards able to hold a gun to you to stop you are considered an end of sentence... As long as you can get off prison property unharassed your are a free man/woman... & That is parole & probation free...God has spoken.

Here is what the black hole from Google maps was. From satellite view, water doesn't actually look like Google is showing it, water actually looks black. The last one about the "life sentence" is actually true: the prisoner's sentence was actually the death penalty. The state botched the execution and he died; but, he didn't stay dead. If I recall correctly, there was a power flop to the electric chair. That meant he wasn't hit with the proper electrical current to end him. The state can't simply keep trying to successfully execute someone. It's a one & done situation. If the equipment malfunctions, oh well, the person gets a "life do over" as it were 🙂 The prisoner's attorney immediately filed for an appeal claiming that the state carried out the execution, it's not the prisoner's fault it didn't work. I'm paraphrasing; however, that was the gist of the appeal. The appellate court granted the request for "time served" release. As far as I know, the man never got in trouble with the law again following his release. Take care everyone! ❤️
