@BrianLordOfDarkness Early scripts were closer to The Comics(Some were even titled "Hellblazer")but rights issues and budget constraints forced the studio to make rewrites closer to The Film we ended up with.

You do know he was a fraud who only converted to keep the Empire together(Which failed in the end interestingly enough, due to both Pagan holdouts and other Christians who didn`t want to be subjects of Rome and Constantinople as well as environmental and economic conditions and political infighting and corruption which ended up distracting from the Vandals at the gates ), most likely fabricated his conversion story(Especially considering the cross was ONLY considered a specifically Christian object of worship AFTER he converted, NOT before!)and worshipped Isis, Ishtar and Athena in secret until his final days, do you not?

+Mutualist Freedom Fighter 3 both have their merits, but most would say that the john constantine of the show is much closer to the original john constantine of the hellblazer comic books. i like both, but hellblazer will always win IMO.
