I normally am too shy to comment on most things, but this is probably the one animatic that truly tugged at my heartstrings. This puts into perspective not only the history of Wukong, but truly shows how he has had his ups and downs-how he once had his friends by his side, before time came through and he had to come to terms with his past. This animatic is beautifully depicted to show us the passage of time and its blessings and curses of Wukong. It truly puts into perspective what he has gone through-something we don’t see much in the Lego Monkie Kid Show. Beautifully done, hun!

This animation is beautiful and has so much emotion BUT CAN WE JUST TALK ABOUT THE AMMOUNT OF FRIENDS WUKONG LOST, SOME EVEN BEING TO HIS HAND??? THE OTHER TIMES HE COULDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT BECAUSE HE'S IMMORTAL SO HE SLOWLY WATCHED THEM GROW WEAKER AND CLOSER TO DEATH. LIKE DUDE. This is GLORIOUS. Seriously, this is beautiful. I love how slow paced everything is until the pilgrims pass. It shows how constant and stable Wukong’s life was until then. And then it all turns very fast paced as Wukong meets Mk. GAH THIS IS BEAUTIFUL. I’d love it if you made a crane wives animatic! Their songs are quite similar to this one but more angry. I’d say that really suites Wukong!

THIS LEGIT MADE ME CRY - IVE NEVER CREID ABOUT ANY FAN CONTENT BEFORE, NOT EVEN THE SHOW/JTTW WHATT TRULY PUT A DIFFRENT PERSPECTIVE FOR WUKONGS PAST AND AUHGHH IT BRINGS SO MUCH LIFE INTO EVERY MOMENT.. This is actually so beyond underrated. You’ve captured my soul and tears, I spent a full 5 minutes sobbing curled up on my bed because of this wonderful animation. It’s phenomenal, the smoothness, the references to Jttw, the emotion and the amount of grief Wukong must have felt for the cost of being immortal. And how he still fights and sees himself- both to his despair and nostalgia- in Mk. You have so much talent, my subscription is not much. But I fully believe you have a wonderful future ahead, thank you for this heart-wrenching animation. Words cannot describe how I felt watching this, thank you ❤️

The song mixed with your beautiful animation and your ability to convey such emotion in the characters all came together to make such an emotionally hard hitting & incredible final piece. First of all let me just say LOVE THE SMALL DETAILSSSS!!! and the many times I had to rewind to see and take in the backgrounds and the animation is embarrassing to say the least… (like how you made WuKong’s eyes small and made then made them dilate AHH SO CUTE 😭💗😭) The way you lined up WuKong’s and the rest of the series' story is so perfect! And like small bits of The Journey to the West? Oh my gosh. And the fact that you did ALL of this in IBISPANT for about 6 MONTHS is absolutely crazy to me.
