I would disagree with the concept that the ballot should be printed in a variety of different languages. I see this as a moot argument at best. All American born citizens are taught English as their primary language, and all naturalized citizens are required to learn English in order to become a citizen. Therefore, I would be highly suspicious of the true citizenship of anyone requiring a translation of the ballot. I could see; however, a possible need for some ballots printed in Braille for the blind however. But, I can also see that this would be extremely difficult for machine tabulation . Perhaps the best way would be to have a trusted friend allowed with you in the booth. I know that in Washington state, which has mail in voting, that a helper must also sigh the ballot confirming he assisted the voter.

everyone should vote alone. Your comments are frequently concerning.

So this amendment has everything to do with taxes related to accessing the ballot box and nothing to do with other taxes? For example, if a person fails to pay their income tax and is then denied the right to vote (as in the case of felony tax evasion in most states) would this amendment have any relevance in the supreme court regarding such cases? Taking the text of the amendment at face value with our modern understanding of the words, that seems like it should apply, but the constitution should be understood based on the language of the writer, not on the language of the reader.
