Please correct me if am wrong, if primary key doesn't accept duplicate values then what about the scenario where you put salary for an employee from foreign key table, like you said we can enter values n number of times to the table where you fixed primary key, if you add salary to empno-123 for n number of times from foriegn key table , this is error nah? Primary Insert into emp values ( 1,'kumar ') Inser into emp values (2,'karthik') Here number consider as primary key Foreign key Insert into salary values (1,10000) Insert into salary values (1,10000) Here number consider as foriegn key reference emp(number) If this values are accepted then this might be an error right how can a person get 2 salaries for a month ?

This is Simple example. We can't add duplicate value in Primary key table but we can add in foreign key table. Single employee can't get 2 salaries for a month, But further we need to add effect From Month. Because this month he can get 10000 but from next month he can get 120000 or 10000.
