Nice deck today Terran! There were so many ways to build this deck it's crazy, and I love this version you've got here. Gotta love the background music too, Sonic all the way mang! Thanks for the great tech today Terran, lets hope we get lucky!

I could see Claim // Fame in the deck, if they abrade your Scrapheap on turn 2. Maybe a one- or two-of.

Loving the deck, ever thought about Pia's Revolution in the deck. You can stack the triggers so you get the graveyard triggers and other artifacts back, they would have to constantly bolt themselves to keep your artifacts in the graveyard

I liked Pia's Revolution a lot, but I felt that it was a bit slow. But you're welcome to try it out. It's a super fun card. I might make a variation in the future though.

Love this. Ive been brewing around with this concept for the past few months, topping with a couple improvise demons. What about the weapon enchantment from Ixalan? Fit in a couple?

Have a blue version of this which uses the Padeem/Saheeli's artistry combo to turn all my artifacts permanently Hexproof. Use Saheeli's Artistry to copy Padeem into a Legendary ARTIFACT Creature, sac the original to the Legend rule and you are left with a Padeem which not only gives all your artifacts Hexproof but also gives himself Hexproof, rendering him all but irremovable. Not a lot outside control that can cope with that combo when it goes off.

So let’s talk tribe advantage: the major one here is that we can afford to splash any color here. We can have blue for so negate or to mechanized production our lords. Can get some green for protection. Built to smash/built to last sound like great additions. Built to smash if we want that especially aggressive start. Our mana symbol count is just so low.
@MTGOTradersInc7 жыл бұрын
I loved built to smash, but my problem was aggro decks that gum up the boardstate and removal heavy matchups. Key to the City and Lightning Strike help. But Built to Smash is great I agree.
@shotokantiger49827 жыл бұрын
I think this is a great idea. With spire you can bring in negate or fragmentize out of the sideboard. Maybe some treasure maps instead of key to the city for token mana to help make sure you find your off colors. And just think of the look on your opponents face when you drop a negate with no obvious blue mana on the battlefield
@justwantawholename7 жыл бұрын
The good thing is that we can board built to last or blossoming defense in for protection in removal heavy matchups. And mechanized production on a lord is a hilarious way to put clog a board. Though I would think built to smash would also help with the clogged board states because of trample. Guess not. Could also try crash through

mechanized production on a lord is so dumb if that went off for a turn or two hah

Went for Strike and Key over that with Vraska's Contempt. But great card regardless.

Maybe a good sideboard card? Swap out for Vraskas contempt if no gods present.

Okay, hear me out: Grixis Thopter Tribal. 4x Ornithopter, 4x Hope of Ghirapur, 4x Metallic Mimic, 4x Whirler Virtuoso, 3x Era of Innovation, 4x Live Fast, 4x Die Young, 2x Gonti's Aether Heart, 2x Marrionette Master, 2x Vanquisher's Banner, 3x Tezzeret's Touch, 22 land Just off the top of my head. Might suck, but it could be fun!

Also maybe a couple slots for Unlicensed. Maybe take out one Die Young and one Live Fast for them.

In the current meta it was just usually a dead card. So much removal, and I needed the red or black mana most of the time. But it was in the first build. It slowly worked it's way out when I put in Hazoret over Treasure Keeper.

why isn't Unlicensed Disintegration in here? Genuinely curious. [EDIT] And Pia's Revolution is arguably better than Scrap Trawler. I enjoy the concept of this deck but a few of the pieces feel really janky and unsynergistic
@MTGOTradersInc7 жыл бұрын
Pia has not turn 1 interaction and Scrap Trawler can activate if it comes in and dies. It just feels better in that way for me. Unlicensed was in the deck on the first build and took it out over lightning strikes and key to the city. Would rather have a that and Vraska's Contempt over a 3 mana kill spell. Just felt that the strike is more flexible for me. But I agree that the card is great.
@getgudmedia79347 жыл бұрын
Hmm fair enough. Can't wait for the stream!
@BloodyScythe6667 жыл бұрын
Pia's Revolution would probably be good as a 1- or 2-of but then why play it anyways? If the board is clear, Scrap Trawler can get in twice or more often (but still does not reason a 4-of in the deck imo). Maybe a good sideboard card though if you face against many board wipes.
@getgudmedia79347 жыл бұрын
My thoughts regarding it being a 3+ of maindeck: -Removal is huge in standard. Pia's gives opponents a second layer to the decisions regarding blocking and removing, as they must take 3 if they truly want it gone. Additionally creates an environment for misplays. -It combos famously with Ballista -You can be more reckless with your attacking as you'll either cast your 1-2 drops again or they'll net you 3 damage each (which for a Bomat takes 3 turns) -The damage can be directed to a PW. Essentially all artifacts in the deck are either recurring threats or become Bolts/Strikes -Multiple copies of Pia's is better than multiple copies of Banner. You don't need to draw additional threats if the ones you already have keep flying back to hand unless the opponent can handle taking 6-9 damage per threat. And if you have no threats in the first place, Banner does you no good either. -Regarding Trawler, it's a one time use on currently sub-par body. Though it's value in the deck would skyrocket in tandem with Pia's as you'd slap em in the face after taking 3 damage to bury something. Just saying, the way this deck flows is chip early and slam the remaining life quickly between turns 5-8. Currently it lacks the staying power to push out that last 5-7 damage over a stabilized opponent. Pia's adds sick value to every artifact you play in more ways than one.
@justwantawholename7 жыл бұрын
The answer is actually run both because if your opponent takes the damage you can reclaim creatures later with trawler. One gives your opponent a choice and does nothing if you don’t have a boardstate.
