You got straight to the point just after starting the video. I really liked that, many youtubers tells to subscribe and like at first, but you didn't do that. Well done. It really helped me a lot.👍👍

My teacher took 20 minutes to explain this and never did it again. No offense to him but this is much more helpful

Teaching this is tough! You definitely need to see the construction a few times before trying

Hi Mr. V, so i’m doing regents prep is coming up in my geometry class as of now.I just have a question so after we make the arc above the dot like for example in your example.P we measure arch distance to make the other arc but we switch where we put the needle and we put the marker instead so we can show the proof that we measured the arc? and also just a general question so like I always wanted to come with geometry teacher because I find the field very interesting and I really like the conception and how you applied them to real life principles, especially when my class did the formulas of shapes and when we did two optometry so if you were to recommend somebody to become a geometry teacher, what advice would you give them even though I know, I think you can’t specifically become a geometry teacher, but somebody who wants to specialize in that or math just in general?

great video, but for school i have to construct 3 parallel lines, and I am just wondering how to construct that
@vinteachesmath2 жыл бұрын
For that example, I imagine your would just repeat the process once more above the parallel line you construct.You would most likely have to introduce a new transversal line as I am sure they will not make the three points colinear.

So I need 2 parallel lines the same length to rest my chicken coop on bricks outside, larger scale, don’t have compass. Can I make a sq and then measure diagonals?
@vinteachesmath Жыл бұрын
This concept will definitely work outdoors, but first disclaimer, I have no experience building chicken coops! I am imagining strings staked in the ground to help with accuracy.

Ok that’s what I was thinking too
