A Jackson team has completed construction of a 7km riverside cycle and walking pathway in Hertfordshire.
The upgrade of a section of the New River Path will allow more residents to walk or cycle around the borough of Broxbourne, easing congestion and reducing air pollution.
The project took ten months to complete and included the installation of ramps and several footbridges. Hundreds of solar lights have also been embedded along the length of the path to light the way after dark.
The improvements were primarily funded by National Highways, as part of its Designated Funds programme which encourages sustainable and active travel, with contributions from both Broxbourne Council and Hertfordshire County Council
