10% for place holder.. NO WAY RUN

10% is low for some folks. You have to remember that in the first 30 days we are going to pay for windows, special order framing materials, and the excavation and permit. Those may be more than 10%.

Not serious? So tired of nonsense. Last builder wanted a 10k good faith deposit to BID a job....SMH

No defense of a specific amount requested but for an honest, accurate, reliable number my office might have two weeks worth of someones time invested. Shoule that be free? Because if that is free to you, the person who is kicking tires and has yet to hire us, the person who does end up encuring that cost is the person who is hiring us. That doesnt seem right.
