You are doing well, and God will continue to help you and reward you adequately. No doubt, many of our people who are enemies of progress will never see anything positive from the projects. In particular, those who believe their area part of Nigeria is Eldorado's of Nigeria. They don't have anything in their brains, other than talking down what will bring advancement to the country. I will only urge you not to relent, tnose who appreciates you will support you and encourage you further.

Nice one! You need a bicycle for this lagos calabar highway update.😅l can't believe some Nigerians are against this road construction, it's unbelievable.From lagos to calabar,you can get to calabar by 2 in the afternoon if one leaves lagos by 7 in the morning,compared to the current journey of all day really to get to calabar.The constractors should clear all that rubbish at maruwa while they are at it,once and for all.They should not give people reasons to continue using the place as a dumping ground.There is sand filling and grading going on the the second phase as well,up to ode omi,the border with ogun state.Thank you.

If they maintain the existing road, the journey would be for the duration you mentioned or even less. Alternative road like this isn't bad but what is the chances it wont get bad, they will still have to maintain it. If they really want a durable connection, railway only would have been the best.
@suntangloryАй бұрын
@@ledgerpage This is concrete road,if they stick to specifications,which l believe hitech would,the road should last for nothing less than 50 years.Even trains need maintenance too,it doesn't just run without millions in maintenance.At least road,we can build,we don't need foreigners for that, why we wait for the day we can have train too.The estates,job s,community into town,industries that this road will create greater than what most Nigerians realized.

Have you been there pls? The whole of South need to vote Tinubu to bring this project to conclusion I swear! I was there 3 times now & I began to imagine whole lots it will do to Southern economy. Now, another President of northern extraction or anyone who doesn't believe in it from the beginning will make it inconclusive project after 2027. You can go & come Calabar just in a day. And it's so a beautiful road with street light which will be installed down to Calabar & I was amazed when they informed me that's what is going to be down to Calabar. Beautiful road!!!

Some of us are just after the country's progress and I must say this is a commendable project but their progress has been plodding. Why not get another concrete paver machine on the other lane to make work faster at this pace I don't think they'll complete it in the 8-years they gave
@miftaudeenabdulhameed1320Ай бұрын
They need to do the earthworks and drainage first which they are doing on 4 other points in the 1st section. second section is also ongoing. Another section will start soon in Calabar.

@@abdulateefakinwande9681 Jakande, Okun Alfa, Elekko. I can't remember the last one. Another work is going on between Deep seaport and Elekko but it's a different contract with smaller scope. Gbolahun, it has taken 6 months to build 5 kms at the VI end, lets assume 4Kms has been built at the Eleko end (which i doubt). They plan to complete all 47kms before May 29 2025. Sounds like political talk.
@miftaudeenabdulhameed1320Ай бұрын
project Duration for this section is 36 months. The Minister said before May29th. He didn't mention 2025. He's most likely referring to May 29, 2027
@faskwillad4765Ай бұрын
This is only one section in this video go and check his other videos to see other ongoing sections like Jakande, Eleko, Free trade zones etc it is far more than your imagination.
@IamgbolahanАй бұрын
The progress is still tremendous and I believe some part of the section 1 can actually be completed by then. Part of the 6 months was used to solve different controversies on the project from compensation, demolition around landmark, Okun-Aja community issues amongst others. The Eleko section might be faster as there are moving away from high density communities/areas. One of the other reasons why works slow down at this side (Oniru) was because of significant amount of landfill at the oniru area. The contractor needs to allow for sand settlement in this area and all swampy terrain along the project.
@IamgbolahanАй бұрын
@faskwillad4765 the other places are also part of section 1. It was divided at different places to make the construction faster. This part will connect with the Eleko section at somewhere around chevron/ajah axis.
