Giants want to sell games by doing this and I can understand that, they’re a business. But if you add non farming stuff (productions, rollercoasters, etc…) in a farming simulator, why not crop rotation, germination, fungicides, pesticides, crop moisture, veterinarians, etc…?

I do understand the frustration, but I see more diversity as a great foundation as long as they eventually circle back to each to expend them - especially farming since it’s literally the name of the game.

@@NOTnightowl like I’ve said, I don’t mind them adding stuff for other people (although I still don’t understand why they play this game in the first place, it says farming simulator) but they shouldn’t forget the players that bought the game since the beginning. Most of us want more farming related features, we want to play it as realistic as possible in a game. Other games proved that they could cater to both realistic players and weekend warriors. So why doesn’t Giants? It’s the best of both worlds.

@@davidvanmol5199 I understand, but farmers seldom only farm. Most of the features they added are in a farmers toolbelt, but regardless, I understand where you’re coming from. They should definitely add more realism elements to farming at its core.

I agree with all comments, happy for them to expand into other things such as production chains and construction even though it doesn't interest me. I play it for farming, I would like to see more realism with this, especially with crop moisture and further interaction with caring for animals. I really hope they do not forget that this is a farming game, so much more can be added for realism on the farming side!

I want more stuff involving farming.. like hoses you have to connect to pump slurry. Manual attach. Also would love to be able to make you own pasters aswell.. Also better seasons with grass having to be left out to dry and bales rotting too

Always good to see more things like this added to the game, I know we have productions now but a lot of this does seem very 'forestry' heavy but lets wait and see.

If in fact we can finally actually go inside these homes that we build and supply materials for is stoking me up a bit now. Sounding good. Yeah, an interaction cut scene with the NPCs might be nice too during a purchase or trade. All this is adds to a much bigger leap up from 22 to 25 than was 19 to 22.

I would love to see more complex systems with the machines--random breakdowns, oil changes and maintenance (perhaps such as greasing, tightening bolts etc), differences related to weight, tire type etc (such as tire slippage, ruts etc).. but it seems the best we can do is peeling paint and a so-so manual shifting system...while we are on the subject, wouldn't it be great if being in the wrong gear could stall and/or bog down the motor as it does in real life? One can dream

Wasn't 3rd person already confirmed by Giants? There's hasn't been an official blog post, but I remember another youtuber mentioning during a video that in one of Giants' messages to creators they confirmed 3rd person.

What happened to farming simulator? Why not extend the farming experience rather than nonsense I’m seeing at the moment. Who cares about being able to build houses, roller coasters etc. give us more actual farm related content Giants for the sake of the franchise.

In my opinion I believe that them giving us something to do with the product that we make is a good thing rather then just harvesting and selling and repeating that process but I do see your point I like that they are expanding the game in that factor rather than having jank mods to do it and the mods that can be made with the new features are endless

I think they are trying to make the game appeal to a wider audience and fair play. But there are what I would consider small tweaks to make it better for farmers that they are for some reason ignoring, such as crop moisture, more interaction with animals, flooded fields after heavy rainfall causing issues with seeding, harvest etc.

Yea cus when a real farmer needs a new barn etc, he just gets out his controller, presses a button and boooom, a new building appears. He doesnt have to make a plan, clear a space, dig footings, get the materials and build it or have it built. As well as getting on with the "real" farming. I know someone who works on a fish farm, but they dont spend much time ploughing, (the tractors keep sinking)😅😂 Most things with food or multiple's is farming.

Love to see more diversity. I get it, it’s Farming Simulator, but let’s be honest it truly is more of a life sim. I hope eventually we get a survival mode where you have to go buy food or grow your own, and store it in a fridge or freezer. But the diversity in activity I can set out to do in base game 25 is more than enough for me. I’m ecstatic.

I was kind of hoping for upgradable factories and production points…start with a small max production and upgrade them by bringing building materials and enough produce over time and they will produce more product per hour/day

Didn't like the rollercoaster or boat building. Game is turning into forestry/building simulator. So much more could be done with the game on the farming side but it just seems like a money maker for Giants now. Crop orbs just sound stupid. They have lost their niche imo. Will go as far as to say that FS25 could be the worst selling game they have made. Haven't pre ordered and will be waiting until at least next year to play when we have more mods. Very disappointed indeed with the whole thing

Nooooo it's all good but I'm sorry. It's farm simulator. Let's get all the farm stuff people want. Now it's just a money game. In term of farm and what it all entails, it does not seem to have changed again. So why should we buy a new game. Just make this shyt a dlc and do a fs22 remastered. Yes I'm ranting. But why can't the base game be more like terra plus and all those cool things that relate to farm. Why construction simulator. I'm sure there are a lot of player out there who feel a bit cheated.

The only major "farming" feature that's really missing is more in depth weather impact, but that would be a huge undertaking and add so much randomness to the game that most players would get frustrated and turn it off after one disastrous harvest.

this is just pure rubbish what has making a piano got to do with farming this game is dying on its feet, its on its last legs, Giants avoid real farming because they cant put it in a game, all the development all the programing to make 1 country specific item a stage coach that died over 100 years ago. yet they cant build into the game a farmer going into a field putting up 4 posts with a electrical fence to feed cattle for a day, & tomorrow move it cross his land & do the same thing again, its bullshit but what annoys me more is youtubers who shout from the highest roof tops how marvelous & how great the new game will be, your just licking Giants ***** every time youtubers are there singing Giants praises I wish there was a alternat a youtuber who said what he really thought & told Giants your game is shit its not farming,
