Since they are on week 90 and still have a lot to do, I’m guessing they go at least 14 more weeks and thus two years. I have to imagine that the pandemic really delayed the construction and the continued supply chain issues aren’t letting them catch up any. I imagine that the developer is paying out the nose, not only with the extra interest on their construction loans, but in extra labor costs, higher prices, and material shortages leading to higher priced substitutes. Tough time to be in the construction business…or any business really.m

does anyone know what kind of crane manufacturer that is? I have never seen a crane where the boom is in this way on a trailer.

Most hydraulic cranes have the ability to carry the boom on a dolly to meet weight restrictions.

@@pfdx yes, on an extra trailer, I know it from the larger Liebherr cranes. but not so that it is not dismantled.

@@nighteyergbg In this case it's on a dolly which is supporting a large portion of the boom weight without separating the two. It's far more efficient to use a dolly because the operator doesn't have the time commitment to assemble the machine at every jobsite. This looks like a Liebherr but Grove, terex, and Demag have all use the technique since the 80's
