We're on our third one in three years. We love the coffee pot except for one critical piece, which is causing us to switch to a non-carafe style coffee maker. The hot plate on this coffee maker corrodes after about one year. The black surface "bubbles up" and then ends up rusting. We've called Cuisinart on both makers and each time they say that we "just need to replace it with a new one", which seems to last about a year. After three of these in three years, we are moving on to another type of coffee maker.

I know it’s two years old but get this, first time using it, On vacation wanted coffee it’s raining hard don’t know how to use the coffee but thanks to you here I am enjoying my coffee and cigar 😂🤣 embarrassing and funny at the same time....

Whoever is reading the comments, buy it from Best Buy with warranty ! The bottom of the pot got burnt the first time and a second time where the water comes out, Best Buy exchange it with no questions asked. Instead of dealing with customer service and sending it out & waiting on return. But besides that, this is an amazing coffee maker! Extremely recommend

Do you know if you need to use paper filters with it, if you have the metal basket ? Because somebody gifted me one and it came with the metal basket, so I don't want to buy filters for it if I don't have to. Thanks

my very favorite coffee maker ever out of quite few through the years. but, one thing it stays all wet on top the cover. i would think that would be bad for health bacteria etc. how to dry out completely?

I have had my DCC-3200 Cuisinart for three years and it's developed a problem. The problem is that the many heat and cool cycles of the warmer has caused the plastic that holds the warmer in place to sag. This causes the carafe or pot to sit too low. Because the carafe sits too low, the check valve on the bottom of the filter housing does not open wide enough to allow the coffee to come thru at a good rate. Because the coffee does not come thru fast enough, the water in the filter housing fills up and overflows back into the reservoir which takes the coffee grinds with it and it makes a big mess. I don't see a fix for this sagging or distorted base around the warmer; it's plastic. I see this as a real defect in the design of this coffee maker. I'm going to buy a different brand of coffee maker. This one just didn't hold up very long. Three years is not long enough to make it a reliable unit, and it's too expensive for such an early failure, in my opinion.

Same here its no good i love hot coffee not iced like these. Its ridiculous really. I think now I have to preheat water or something so I can prevent from chunking in trash.

Looks good, makes good coffee, automatically makes it , keeps it warm, turns it off so your house doesn’t burn down, and allows you to grab a cup before it’s finished. Are you a $20 Mr Coffee kinda guy?

It’s an okay coffee maker. For a $100 you can go to Costco and pick one up for $60. However, the coffee is ehh. Not bad but not the best either

That's the worst Coffee Maker ever. It's been the second time I suffer from it and go to the distribution centre to report a problem of brewing the coffee. I wasted CAD $90 buying it from Costco.
