In some places the doctors don't do this, its the assistant who can't even answer some of my questions. The doctor comes in at the end to finalize. I have to go back for a resizing because my new contacts seem a little bigger and is blurry in one eye.

I just had an eye exam and he didn't do any of this.. I'm pretty sure he didn't measure my eye or do anything to Guage the shape of my eyeball, but still gave me lenses.

+Sanal Joy yeah thats right except his corneal axis is actually 88 which is in the vertical (90) meridian just read straight off the keratometer

He did... so he used the tool with the magnifying glass and shone the light for the minimum pupil and also used yhe ruler and then turned off the lights and switched the tool light to uv light to get the maximum.
