It always feels like my staff is moving too fast. I’m not sure if that’s literally the problem or if my staff is too heavy... how long would you say is average before these stalls start to feel more natural and “bouncy”?

Your staff could be too heavy. What are you using? Before I got my carbon fibre rod (hollow in the middle), I used a wooden dowel and it was thick n heavy as fuck. Eventually it broke when it hit the floor lol
