These deranged survivors butchered all the groups, and each time, Bed found himself to be completely alone, bloodied and wounded against the undead. Each time, the scars he carried with him, and the horrors he had to endure sent him closer to madness each time. This would culminate in what some describe as a choice of survival, a man losing his grip with what was left of the world, or his hatred of all other human beings after seeing just what one was capable of. Some crazier people even say that he lives that way of life, simply because he became what he hated most. But only fools say he isn't real. I've seen him once. Or rather, saw, after what he did to my eye. I made it. Everyone else in my group didn't. He leaves behind bloodied corpses of those he comes across, and the zombies act like they are *afraid* to go near him. They don't touch him. Maybe because he gives them free food, or bigger numbers. Maybe it's because of all the offal spattered onto his clothes. You should see the way people react. He tracked me over 20 miles into a nearby settlement. I was turned away from every home, bar, and business. Except one. A small church, with a man of the cloth who knew what I was running from, as he had met 'Him' once before. He told me all of what I'm telling you now, including so parts about hi story I never knew of. He even told me about how 'The Man,' as he was known around there, took his wife and his parents away, back when he was just a myth, rather than a legend. He told me about how the sanctuary of the church could hold back the devil himself. 'The Man' was no devil. I heard the screams from outside the church the whole night. I even looked out once, and I saw what could only be told as 'what could drive one mad,' much like what has driven 'The Man' mad. The Man had killed many people, and as I grieved for the lost in silence, under the holy cross, I had heard the good Father scream. Once more, I looked. A dense mist had filled the dark town by that point. I saw the bloody Father being dragged by The Man. As I grabbed my Thompson, he gave me a look. He knew I was there. Wether it was pity, trying to save someone, or trusting in his faith, his face told me all I needed to hear. I set my weapon down, and I watched, as the good Father was dragged off, into the mist, by The Man. The face of the Father has stuck with me since, and probably will until I die. I don't know of it was luck, the sacrifice of the Father, or God himself stopping such an unholy being, that kept me alive in that church. But I swear that when I saw the Father, that sick bastard knew I was there, too. And I shit you not, I saw him *smile.* That smile put more fear into my heart than god or the devil could ever put. As the mist lifted, and the sun came out, I saw the aftermath. General chaos. Burning buildings, corpses littering the streets, and some of them didn't want to stay dead. After all was settled, and despite my efforts helping the town, I was an outsider. After all, I was the one who brought The Man here. The town didn't want me, and the remnants chased me out, under threats of lynching. I wandered until I founded 'Bedtown.' Named after what 'The Man' was known as, back before the zombies, and The Man who left his mark on so many. That was 10 years now. You can find that little town, still. Solid walls, and kind people. The new adults and older people remember me. 'The Troublemaker, The Father, The Man, and The Savior.' I play a dual roll, as both 'The Troublemaker,' and 'The Savior.' They couldn't stop all the chaos by themselves. Still ran me out, though. Can't say I blame 'em. I've lived a long and difficult life. This story is only one of my nerve-wrackers, but it's the best one. I tell it to anyone who wants to hear it. But after all this, listen here. I've heard reports about 'Him,' as he's called around here, in the area. I don't know if he's still tracking me, or if it's just plain old bad luck. Now, if you hear or see anyone with a Sledgehammer, tell us. And make sure you get back here alive, if you do. The shelter is stocked up enough to keep us safe for the next 3 months. But let me tell you. If you see someone with a smile that looks a little off, run. It's for your best interest. Because it's not just my story which will freak you out. I've heard rumors going all the way back since he first appeared, about sneaking into towns, just to kill them all a day later. I don't know if they are true, but it's not worth taking a chance. Now, unless you are interested in sharing a drink, or staying the night, you better retire for the night. I like the company, but I won't throw all your time under the bus. After all, you gotta lot of life left in ya, so better sleep some of it off. If you're into getting a drink, however, you could live your life to the fullest. After all, never know when Bed can come knocking...

I am just seeing it from the perspective of an RP server player where some things are rules that could very easily be programmed in but you're supposed to just follow them. Like servers that have the 5 minute rule but it's not programmed in to kick them from the area. I think this would be a pretty cool mod, the game market really seems to be itching for un-even team type gameplay since Evolve was such a flop.
