The mere existence of Nanako's chapter is a spoiler, and explaining it is a bigger spoiler territory. ^^

Just because something is old shouldn't mean it's okay for it to be spoiled (unless maybe the other party just doesn't care or the story sucks or something like that) since most everyone haven't actually gone through these things. These girls playing these games for the first times are prime examples. Hell, when you type out "persona 4 nanako" on KZbin, the first results that appear are giant spoilers.

I remember awhile back reading some people's analysis of the plot and a couple of them agreed Nanako should have PERMANENTLY died no matter the path you chose, in order to have given the plot alot more seriousness and felt the story was "ruined" when in choosing to pursue the real truth, she got to survive and that it became too "Fairy Tale"...all I gotta say is all those people that thought that, I feel are all sick in the head if they needed a 6 year old girl to DIE in order to convey more seriousness to the plot...

I mean at the time, she's really dead. If she was in coma, or critical condition but atill alive, I still believe the game would cure her somehow. But she's really got flatlined and she wasn't back to live instantly. Make matter worse, we have those moments with Namatame which kinda makes me thingking she is really is dead past that point. I was thinking maybe I can changed her fate somehow or we need to choose some option to keep her alive lol

Almost feels like divine punishment to have your Vita break and then uncover the requirement for the missing trophy, which is kinda funny that you missed that particular trophy considering that pretty much every person I’ve come across up till now has gotten that trophy on their own. ​@@johnnyMcSheep There are a total of 6 endings please don't read below the spoiler line if you haven't already played P4 and want to enjoy Miko's stream ========spoiler======== ending 1: nanako died, timeskip to march, MC is going back to the city (bad end 1) ending 2: nanako died, revived by teddie, timeskip to march, MC is going back to the city (bad end 2) ending 3: MC choose to side with the actual killer, timeskip to march, MC is going back to the city and get a text message from the actual killer (bad end 3) ending 4: MC identifies the actual killer and stop them (good end 1) ending 5: MC identifies the actual killer, and identifies the mastermind (good end 2) ending 6: MC identifies the actual killer, identifies the mastermind, and maxed Marie's social link (good end 3) You get an "extra month" on ending 6, but as far as I know atlus doesn't give permissions to stream that "extra month", just like the third semester on P5R

I remember when I was going through the OG P4 in 2018, the only thing that got spoiled for me through internet was this scene. And I was so heartbroken going in to this... but then again, being spoiled to this but not what happens AFTER it was a reversed great surprise! I also happened to witness one of the bad ends before it. Which in a sense made it even better. Always great to see Persona experiences!

I did not know at first, like why Nanako was the Justice Arcana, until I finished the game. Nanako was like the justice of the whole investigation team. When she's gone, the whole team was so devastated that they almost would kill Namatame for "what he did", they would do this with their own 'justice', since Nanako, the Justice Arcana, is no more. But, through sheer will, Yu Narukami saw through the truth, the thick fog that were planted by the culprit, the puppetmaster, he would not allow his emotion to make that 'justice' decision. And because he always held on to it, believe in the true justice, the Justice Arcana, Nanako, managed to return, with help from Teddie the Star Arcana. He was indeed the star of the team, of Nanako and Dojima's life.

I remember playing Persona 4 for the first time too. This scene also had me reacting like Miko. This game does a superb job immersing you into the life of Yu Narukami, and all his friends and family, you become emotionally invested in the characters, and it hits you hard when this happens with Nanako, since for a first time player you have really no way of knowing she was going to die or not.

The really downside of the story of P4 is how lenient the culprit is having the consequences. a prison sentences IRL is just a slap on the wrists compares to be sentenced to wander for the eternity on the Labyrinth.

Yep, this is what happen with both Persona games after P3. For P4, the culprit just go in prison and in the spin-off the culprit kinda got a relieving ending for himself. And for P5, while that one person still ended up died, he still got a heroic death instead of a dog death.

No doubt, I acted exactly like Miko when I first played this on the PS2. It kinda snuck up on me for the happy go lucky game that involved serial murders. I probably should’ve expected it, but what really stuck in my mind was, if it wasn’t for the theme of pursuing the truth beyond truths that all the encounters lead up to this point, I probably wouldn’t have gotten towards the true end. When you are wrapped in anger and disbelief, it’s hard to think about asking the right questions and not acting out the dark emotions. Yet, that’s exactly what you must do, in order for justice to play out. P4 was both fun and enlightening to not making assumptions and try to see beyond the veil of the everyday masks we wear. I’m glad Nanako was written the way she was, because, games hold that power to teach you lessons.
