But it's also very important to rank on engagement page on bottom because that is push point where back link play roll...Plus more backlink indicates to google that your content is being shared., That means content had value....That is why backlink is one of top 3 factor of SEO...But it's fact that only back link does not help in long term regardless of good content...So in conclusion backlink and content are complimentary of each other....
