We got a fire-spewing turtle, a stalker that can only be seen in a camera, a clump of fungus that turn people into a mushroom monster, and a bunch of arms that transports you to many other dimensions of sort. An entity that can jack into your recording as if it were a stream to track you down is not outside the realm of possibilities.

I feel the button should have a chance to drop a useful item instead of exploding because the gimmick of exploding when pressed can get old really quick. I’ve seen the joke of someone pressing the button wondering what will happen plenty of times already. The chance of getting something out of pressing it will create this situation where someone might risk their life for a chance to get an item from it randomly the just ignore the button entirely.

I think the best way to implement the angler is having set spawn locations it can randomly choose from if it spawns, like how parts of the map can randomly be boarded up in one dive and gone the next

7:59 I can confirm Arms can spawn in natural games. We call them "Spindly Johnnys" as their limbs are just that much. Can't say if this was by pure coincidence or not but it seems like he also works as an alarm system for other monsters. This came from the fact that after having a Ghost Child flee from the scene after being shocked a bit, after the Arms grabbed a teammate the Ghost Child turned around and came for the victim. Despite there being 3 of us it went only after the one Arms caught. Take it with a pinch of salt as further testing should be done to confirm.

most players called the snailspawner the slug, and most players i have met have called him "teenage mutant ninja dragon" (my personal favourite) or "dragon". (edit) arms does appear, and is very common. you can also get him trapped on a wall or pole, the alternate dimension used to be called "bigslapworld" or something similar in the menu :)

i encountered it blind with some friends. picked it up, got shroomed. my friends didn't know it was me and as such were incredibly confused how a monster was following them this far, and i had no idea what was going on because of course they weren't explaining to me what was going on. i ended up accidentally killing two of my teammates without realizing and the other one only realized what was happening when i managed to get on the diving bell with them. one of the coolest experiences i've had in content warning
