Molly fan here; did he really die a hero? Lucian went out and didn't remember who he was for years, not in the least making waves in hospitals with eggs and strutting around in a silver dragon tapestry carrying fruit and getting wasted everywhere. Molly died from his own dumb mistakes in a fight they knew they were outnumbered and severely outmatched. Lucien rose and is now dealing with more of his mistakes in the form of the M9 chasing that ghost that isn't him... none of that is heroic.

Can we take a moment to think about how terrifying the last week has been from Essek's PoV?? He gets one message from the Nein saying they're in the area, another the next day saying they might stop by in 2 days, then STONE COLD NOTHING for 3 days, then a very serious message saying "we're going somewhere dangerous, very bad people are here trying to do a very bad thing," and then NO FURTHER INFORMATION. STILL NO IDEA WHO THE BAD PEOPLE ARE, WHAT THEY'RE TRYING TO CAUSE, OR WHAT HIS FRIENDS ARE DOING. I'm shocked he hasn't shown up yet demanding to know what the hell is going on.

@@NoInfoAvail Friend or not, by now Essek knows that when the Nein say "bad people are trying to do bad stuff," they mean it. He's already in an area with dangerous magical ruins and relics. Not hard to conclude they're on the trail of a group after the same relics, and given that all he's heard is "we're going to go stop some bad people" and then silence, it wouldn't be hard to conclude said group may have already secured the D&D equivalent of weapons of mass destruction.

I truly love how Taliesin uses Caduceus' usual soft demeanor to make truly shine the moments where he's being downright menacing. Percy was always a bit edgy and Molly was very confortable with the darkest sides of the group, but because of how mellow Cad usually is, when he's being threatening, it's genuinely terrifying. The anger of the gentle man indeed.

But if the creature is from the same plane that Banishment was cast on it sends them to a little pocket dimension and then brings them back. It's a weird spell, but rule of thumb if it seems demonic or celestial and it last the whole time, it doesn't come back.

The whole purpose of negotiation is to make the other person feel as if they’re only gaining, and not losing, when in reality you’re getting exactly what you want. so whatever he shares might be nothing, or it might be a lie, but they already know some elements of the truth so it’s not hard to piece together anything new, even if that’s just refusal.

Aye, Im so glad this character has the intelligence and charisma for Travis to actually shine. Obviously Grog was incredible, and Travis's ability to portray an intelligence of 6 is an accomplishment on its own, but damn I love when Fjord actually steps up to the plate as front man for the Nein.

I was so worried he wasn't getting what Caleb did, which Tialesin alludes to. Especially since it can be circumvented by various charms. Nonagon literally couldn't get the piece over their dead bodies. He couldn't get it out of the bad of holding, because it's in the Amber. He'd have to destroy the bag, and then start to destroy each and every object in it for some reason. But if they gloat and fess up, they're an eyewink away from producing it.

However, if Lucien knows it's in the Bag of Holding, he could just kill them all and take the Bag. All he'd have to do is dump everything out of the Bag and take the Amber. Now getting it OUT of the Amber, on the other hand... well... THAT he might have a problem with. There's only one being other than Caleb that can pull things out of the Amber, as far as we know, and that's U'kotoa.

After his wounding he wanted to serve in the Continuation war, but was not allowed to due to his extensive injuries. Man was an absolute badass.

Considering this was a biological weapons development lab I'm not sure if that forest wasn't like that from the start. I think it was a magical virus meant to diminish or even kill Melora. To me it feels more like an intentional corruption of nature by the mages of Aeor, rather than something that happened over time after Aeor fell. Hopefully that makes you feel better.

I'd been mulling over what Liam's purpose in playing out unrequited love, for Caleb, when all along Laura was pushing Travis to flirt back with Jester. Then it occurred to me that while we see a lot of angry men portrayed as being "left in the friend zone," we don't often see a healthy response to being the one not chosen (at least in male characters.) So basically Caleb is the anti incel, being the good friend and just dealing with it privately.

The things i forget that I love about the mighty nein: Yasha’s awkwardness. The voice of Cad, which is like a warm blanket Veth loving everyone in her own way Jester. Literally everything about jester Beau being a world class detective:she’s Batman Caleb continuously showing more of his sense of humor. Fjord being more protective over jester.
