Is the passage beginning at 1:54 recycled from La Cenerentola? I'm asking because Alma Deutscher quotes the passage almost exactly in her opera Cinderella, at least in the overture and perhaps in the opera as well. And as far as Rossini goes, I know he's fond of recycling material himself.
