Ha!! I wish I knew at 30 what I know now at 60…did you see downtown Denver before Coors field was built?? I’m wishing I’d bought one of those lofts over Wynkoop Brewing when they were under $100k in the early 90s 🙃

If you ever go back to London and have a day to spare, head over to the capital of the proper british. Cardiff. Home of Spiller Records, the oldest recordshop in the world and so much great music, pubs, craft beer and history from pre-roman day until today. Yes, this Norwegian can't stop being a Wales fanboy 😊

Cardiff definitely sounds right up my street! If I could afford retired expat life in the UK I’d do it in a heartbeat…the weather would probably kill me before my bank account got drained, though 😆

@ Well, it is consistantly wet and somewhat chilly… I would think the insanely divergent temperatures between high summer and arctic winter in places like Chicago would be far more of a shock to the living body 😄 In Denver I got sunburned at Coors field, then snowed on in Aurora the next day and then broncitis returning to a terribly warm and humid NY. Cardiff is amazing 😊

@@EmbryonicRobot I think I had some great fish and chips in London, Ontario, but I don't remember the name of the place. But it still didn't beat The Atlantic Kitchen in Fort Sasquatch (or however you spell Sas-cat-che-wan) which is not in that province, but is right next to Edmonton in Alberta. I'm glad I don't live in that province because then I'd be forced to learn how to spell it. But now, i'm totally off topic.

Oh my gosh! 54-40! I just bought that album early in May last year. By August I had the entire studio discography. I’m still listening to their stuff every week. I can’t believe I never got into them considering they are from the municipality next to the one I grew up in. How cool to see you pull out the Green Album! You got me totally by surprise, Richard! Blue Rodeo. I like them too! 54-40 are from a part of the City of Delta called Tsawwassen. But just say they’re from Vancouver.

Nice video. I agree with you about Elvis Costello. I admire him but I dont get the love he gets from the critics and the VC. Same for jam bands, I find them very boring .

I think a trillion subs would implode my channel. I'm happy with just a few a day or so. No apologies needed for what you like or dislike. I appreciate Elvis Costello, but I'm only a mediocre fan, however, Phish and Widespread Panic are way up there towards the top on my list as favorites, but that's just my own taste. No reason to apologize for it, it's just what we like. I remember those days when we thought $20 for a ticket was too much. Now I can't even think about going to a concert. I just found a copy of 54-40 last year, didn't know anything about them, but they were in the cheap used records and I thought it looked interesting. That was a bet that paid off. Great album. Now, now, 60 isn't that bad....is it? I'm 63 and it seems that 60 passed by without me hardly even knowing it. Anyway, great response! As soon as I get over my stupid cold, I'll try to get a response or two out there, I'm so far behind.
