I hate to be this way and I have the utmost respect for Vogue, and all these fashion icons. However. They're all kind of lost when it comes to this. Vogue is losing it's transcendence. It looks like they all just sit around judging these designers and collaborators with biased opinions and act is if their creativity is lesser than. Literally passing judgement on them while none are really as creative besides DVF. It's just a bunch of older fashion queens acting as if they have the higher ground and then ultimately not making risks but deciding on to go safe and boring. I REALLY think it would be wise to get someone younger, funkier, and more colorful on this panel, or maybe 3 younger people to change the dynamic to a more fresh and interesting set of ideas and new opinions. Because everyone imitating each others words and opinions on this panel kind of shocked me. It just seems exhausting and boring, yet pointless. Being paid to basically do nothing and play it safe. Them all deciding on "Basics with fashion statement glasses! flats!" Everything they liked and everything they praised was just blah or unwise for FASHION. For SALES in America yes, basics and sunglasses ALWAYS sell because everyone will always want them. However Sunglasses are not timeless they are dated to time periods so your in a bit of a disaster recreating periods like the 80's with fashion statement glasses, sweaters, and basics...Does anyone else see that but me?... and Glasses are very inexpensive to make and to imitate and rip off. So that is a no go especially for the youth who KNOWS that and would much rather just buy something similar or a imitation on Amazon than shell out the money. Fashion is supposed to be FUN and full of LIFE. Not dull and boring and the same things over and over... Just my thought.
