I swear the commentators have bets with each other about how much stuff they can find a way to say during the broadcast.

Back then, there was an NFL Reddit thread series called "Shit the Announcers Say." That was a goldmine, but unfortunately, the fun stopped a few seasons ago.

10:01 "May not be good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was" is probably what he was trying to say. It's lyrics to the Toby Keith song "As Good As I Once Was."

The qb for my team is Jordan Love and we did qb run play were 2 players are behind him and shove him it's purely designed to get one yard. Anyways the announcer called it a love shove the other guy on air said you can't say that and he was genuinely confused on why he couldn't say love shove.

@riquetc0060Ай бұрын
It's a bunch of grown men hugging and dragging each other to the ground. The quarterback literally puts his hands under the centers ass to snap the ball. This is why I found it funny how Americans called soccer a gay sport for years. I'm a fan of both sports btw

Trust me when I say: If you ever, even if with the bare minimum of knowledge, want to follow the season with someone who can make it enjoyable to learn about -- and possibly enjoy the potential memes weekly play can create, check out the weekly Sportsball uploads put out by the KZbinr UrinatingTree. He's hilarious and makes it enjoyable even for folks just trying to get into and learn about the league. You WON'T regret it, trust me.

I would personally recommend another member of clickbait sports, ThatsGoodSports/Brandon Perna, instead. He also does a weekly review series and I find him funnier. Utree is still great though.

@@Daydream-Lover Those two are also absolutely great suggestions! There's a lot of great fan-level NFL analysis and historical commentary content on KZbin.
