I was fortunate to talk to Sophy during a Hardware Happy Hour. Really cool seeing an engineering/design mindset on things. Great episode!

Great stuff Chris. You hit the nail on the head with your introduction, so I'm subbed with bells on. Love that it's video too, and now I've got this far, I'm putting the kettle on to have a listen to Sophy. 👏👏👏

Pretty good idea - for users who use electronics as a means to an end - that resonates pretty well with me!

I can't find the podcast on "Google Podcast" app. I tried from the web page with no luck. The Amp Hour Podcast works just fine with the same app.

We added that one a bit later, it might take a day or two to propagate.

I would LOVE if you could interview some of the really smart folks in the retro gaming scene like Mike Chi, Voultar, HDRetrovision or Artemio. These guys all work with analog audio/video signals and interfacing them with modern display systems. There are also some really smart people working on FPGA recreations of retro game consoles like Jotego, Furrtek, sorgelig and many others.

That could be an interesting application of new technology to old problems. I know HDRetrovision, as we attend the same meetups in Chicago.

Would love for you to do a show with a student or something, and review and work through a design of theirs.

Audio levels a bit low at start... but content was great. Go CEP!
