Produced in collaboration with Indigenous partners, this original short film follows an intimate journey through the hands and hearts of five Zuni artists. Through weaving, pottery, jewelry making, fetish carving, and beading, learn about the technicality of the crafts themselves, as well as the deep history and continuation of culture that each art form holds. The artists will discuss their own personal histories, along with what inspires them to continue the tradition to create. Experience personal interviews with the artists and watch up close as they work their crafts into masterful art pieces.
Featuring: Chris Lewis, Eldrick Seoutewa, Carlos Laate , Dan Simplicio, and Fabian Fontenelle.
