Thats why immortal ability has a side effect: it can't be turned off and slowly loses health overtime, so you basically sacrifice a Guan Yu to do as much damage as possible

Well as final release of 008, what I can say is: After using Suan Ni and Guan Yu, I am convinced they are in god mode, yes. (But they are also destructible.) However, with the possible of rank 5, which if you play with player, doesn't even reach 4 that easily. With AI might be easier, if they did not kick your arse first (Insane btw, and to note, 2 or 3 vehicles of yours destroyed equals to their rank up, while 20-30 for you) And even by then, there are superunits in all rank 5. Meaning if you manage to pump out one, so did they. And by lord I hate Air general and Robot General, they have stealth jet that will wreck your day, with the latter has good wide range of ground arty unit to boot.

Since 008 FINAL, two versions of 009 already came out...with a lot of changes. You should try them out. Latest version is 009 beta 2.

I have it the previous version of it (contra 007). Believe me, it's not. Every general has great attack power, yet many times not much defense. In the video, each general is in its elment, in the best conditions to win. But any general can win against any other. It's a great mod.

Nuclear general has no defense structures, his units and buildings have a lot of attack power but very low defense. That nuclear storm can be easily destroyed with a few 3rd rank general powers. It's easier to destroy it than to destroy a normal nuclear missile silo.

No, I haven't tried it yet, but by the looks of it, still not balanced... I have been playing Rise of the Reds mod, though. The new version with GLA came out this week and it's awesome... russkies are still OP, but I guess that's because I'm too good with them :P
