a cosy game, sweet memories. lots of stuff in it: views, players, weapons, destructible stuff, music and nice graphics. it wants at least 3 or 5 times more levels/ stories/ sequels.

Always knew him as Ryu so kinda weird to see Iron. I remember my favorite dude was the guy with the mines, even tho I can't recall his name right now ( in this version is Beans). Contra force will be my all time favorite Nes game, so many memories, lovely gameplay!

We played with brother. One of the best NES games, probably the best sidescrolling action game. Original graphics was buggy and slown down because developers pulled out the maximum possible from 8-bit cartreedge

I think this game was fun, weapon upgrades, 2 player mode, the choice to be 4 characters and much shit to blow up even if It's actually a rejected game from Japan called Arc Hound.

Sunsoft Employee The first contra is the best in the nes trilogy and super C fix many issues afterward like the overpower spread. The hit points of the bosses actually double in Super C when you have a spread. Contra force is not as bad as some peoples would say. The slow-down hurt but the game survive because of decent mechanics.

By the time they were considering Arc Hound release, the SNES was well into the market. The NES market was fading away especially in Japan. They probably assumed they could make a last-minute profit. Only releasing it in the America’s, the game was changed to “Contra Force” to attract the series’ fans.

KWKBOX I wanted to get this one ready and out the way so i can focus and practice my skills at some better titles in the series: Contra 3 the Alien war and Contra: Hard Corps. Thanks, patience and practice is required when you No-Death Run oldschool games.
