Send him and a 3rd rounder to Atlanta for Penix. Then he can play with Kurt Cousins who he said he would like the Raiders to bring in during the off-season, and we get our QB1 of the future. Put in O'Connell for the next 4 games and see what he's got, then if we're 4-4 or worse, Penix gets the start to finish the season.

This happens in the NHL all the the time. The more salary cap hit the trading team retains the more they get in return. I’m not necessarily a fan of it, if you want to trade for a player you need to take on the full salary cap hit or no trade none of this salary cap retention baloney.

IMO Rodgers is better suited to handle the situation and the Jets only scored how many point their last game? If anything the Raiders would be the ones leaking more than Joe Biden's diaper because they gave up a ton of draft capital and they can't draft for sh. Jets are also right there around Adams base for this year too. To Devin's point, as a Raider fan I've seen locker room cancers and how just in general how 1 player can destroy a team. Suddenly, he, an outsider gets the hot white light. Suddenly he needs the ball, the team becomes imbalanced. Raiders looked better without Adams last week. Rodgers won't give a you know what and make Adams the entire focus like he sometimes did in Green Bay. If I'm the Raiders I'm demanding the Jets send Fashanu or a couple of 1's. I'm also leaking and having people doing stories about how he wanted the Raiders to draft Daniels.
