Glad you kept it real. Right now there's a problem with the meta version where you can't launch like you normally would. You have to go into program files and launch the .exe file for it to run on MetaPCVR. And we need zip flinging back expeditiously !

You can fling even better off drones now. BUT, they ruined the servers by adding too many game modes, and regions. Now you wait for 5 minutes and get a max 30 player match.

I hope you do a full tutorial similar to the one you did when the original CS Showdown launched. It would go into detail about new landing spots and areas. Loot tiers, weapons and best attachments and so forth. I learned a lot from that. It was extremely helpful for me at least and I’m sure I’m not the only one who would appreciate it. I feel the performance is much worse now on the Q3 version. Lots of stutters. Grabbing items from the ground also seems so buggy and frustratingly difficult now.

love this game, was super bummed to see my progress from standalone didnt come over. its giving me some Apex Legends PTSD lol. my one gripe is anytime im in a gunfight my game just lags uncontrollably. Makes me wish we were back in season 0 so i can actually have fun and launch myself off ziplines.

In gameplay I can work with my ping, that is being in Australia, my ping is usually high. But I can't compensate for that in the gulag. It is close quarters and ping is a real advantage/disadvantage here. Not a huge thing, but I don't expect to win, even with tactic changes.

I'm glad season 1 is bringing more people to properly criticize the game. It's had bugs since release, and anytime someone mentioned one, they were met with "No, this game is perfect." It causes Devs to prioritize content rather than fixing issues. Which will cause a lot of issues later on in development. Just like how season 1 was unplayable for a lot of people. Old bugs weren't fixed, so it just stacked with new bugs that came with content being added and things being changed around. Make sure the game has a stable base before stacking more things on top. Otherwise it will topple over.

Removal of zipline flinging is OBJECTIVELY good change. It was broken and never intended mechanic that sweats like ourselves were abusing it. It is very frustrating to die like that (3:41) when a ****** plane shoots you down especially if you don't anticipate that. Zipline usage should be punishable - fast traversal at the cost of being easy target, this is common sense. I agree with every other point. I had multiple matches where my backpack and all my stuff disappeared midgame, insanely frustrating bug. They should slow down and take their time to polish the game. They are not activision with thousands of employees that can pump out content and battle passes every 2-3 months.

well yeah the large flings shouldn't happen like that LOL i was trying to explain meeting us in the middle would have been better. Mild flinging for when people camp the top of the ziplines to give us a fighting chance would be great. I wasn't saying to keep the large over the building flinging lmao

Disagree with your points on zipline flinging and removed ziplines, makes the game feel much more immersive and holding a high point now makes sense. People flinging overhead silently wasn't great imo, especially with how low fall damage is. I also love that you need to be more creative with keeping out of the gas now, using cars, drones and actually pushing on foot.

well that's the thing, they buffed distance on it in the 60s too and lowered the spread LOL its airdrop only so wasn't too concerned with it until i saw it in the red station. 10,000 so it's a pricey one.

Unfortunately the standalone version of the game runs like crap now :( Before, with QGO I was constantly getting 100 FPS, and now with the same settings I constantly have drops to 40 FPS.

@@Pforzheim61 are u using virtual desktop? There's a issue with virtual desktop currently. U can try Airlink to see if that works. If you set meta PC app openXR then in virtual desktop set open runtime to VDXR you might get it to work. If not just play on Airlink until it gets fixed

Yeah the flinging thing is exploiting a glitch so no reason to complain about the nerf. If you mastered it you had a distinct advantage over every other player who doesn't search KZbin for game exploits to get wins. Just saying 👍

It wasn't an exploit you didn't have to do anything out of the ordinary to fling. It was literally moving your hand down. An exploit is sometimes like a hole in the map you have to wiggle down in just right to shoot everyone from underground.

ZipFlinging was 100% an exploit, meaning an unintended mechanic being used to do unintended things. The fact you think flinging yourself 100 yards in the air is not an exploit is kinda funny though.

This update made me quit playing. They turned it into a trash COD run and gun rather than a sweaty survival to the end game where you are SUPPOSED to use strategy and stealth. So sad.
