Highlighting black fur is my nemesis. I always feel like those grey highlights look kinda bad...

Yeah it can be kind of tricky, and in my experience it can be especially hard to see where to place highlights if the black layer is a little shiny.

i'd bump up the light and color of the film a bit (just to accentuate the great paint job) but other than that; job's a good 'un.

Yeah you're right. I need to invest in some better lighting (right now I am only using a couple desk lamps). On small stuff it's not too bad but the bigger models end up looking too dark. Hopefully will get all that fixed soon. Thanks for watching!

The model looks awesome! I always wanted to start a clans Eshin army, but never did because of not liking the range at the time. With the Skaventide box coming out soon though, I'm finally thinking of starting a Skaven Army. Would it be possible for you to show us how to apply this scheme to a unit of clanrats for instance, it would be really helpful!

I use natural sable brushes. Rosemary and Co series 99, sizes 2, 1 and 0 (most of the time I use a size 2)
