Contrast. My new favorite Australian band. Cheers from Peru, mates. Keep the good songs coming! Cool video BTW.

"recorded by Stu Mackenzie" Wait a minute, THAT Stu Mackenzie??
@jackcrook44352 жыл бұрын
Yeah dude. Stu's always been totally generous with his time and studio space for his friends, helping record and mix music. We recorded the majority of our Album with him before unfortunately his laptop got stolen on tour in america and he lost our tracks, the Zig Zag album (another great local Geelong band with members from Orb, Murlocs, Sagamore) and a heap of Gizzard Demos. He generously offered to re-record us for free! We re-recorded this track and Vanishing Point with him, and planned to complete the record with him, but our drummer Tom quit half way through the sessions and we never finished these recordings as a whole record. After planning to do a drum machine rendition for the album for a bit (like JAMC in automatic), we luckily met Richard Andrew (Underground Lovers/ Registered Nurse) at a Parading gig and recorded the album again for a 3rd time, finally completing it, at his Pharmacy studio and he played drums. Fun fact, Stu also plays Flute on the vanishing point single version recorded in these sessions (not the album version). We loved how these recordings turned out and initially wanted to go with Stu to have a point of difference in the sound from other straight down the line shoegaze and dreampop bands.
