Your insight is invaluable. Kids have no idea how lucky they are to have access to some of the best concepts in card magic at their fingertips. Growing up, for me, it was either have a local mentor or read books on method.

Learning some slight of hand to impress friends and eventually when I have a kid. The one thing I can’t seem to get with this control is: when pulling the bottom card after the brush action, to pull it all the way to the dominant hand side without that top pack condensing. You manage to keep that top straight fanned out without condensing it. Are there any special cues about pressure that I’m goofing up? Anyone can chip in if you have any guidance. I’m totally new. Maybe it’s the cards being too “sticky”?!

Hi Alex. Thank you for that great tutorial. I already knew the "normal" version of that control and the palming move cause it's similar to the bottom deal move. But all in all your version is so much subtle and more interesting to perform that I again learned very much out of it. The only thing I find is that it looks kind of awkward that the outjogged card, showing to the spectator, reveals another card inn the lower section under it. I would get very suspicious about such a sight... But I think the usual spectator won't think that anything is wrong with that? Anyway, I can't tell how much I appreciate that you are sharing your knowledge and thoughts with us here. Is the NOC deck much better inn performance than a standard Bicycle deck? Have a great Christmas time. Cheers.
