#radiomaster #mt12 #edgetx In this video I am going to show you a way to control the rate/sensitivity of a channel with one of the pots. This solution only uses inputs, mixes, and one curve. Very easy, no special function, drive modes, etc. needed.
It is an (better?) alternatve to the solution ‪@JoshuaBardwell‬ shows in his video (maybe someone can tell him 😀). With the solution shown in my video you will be able to control the two sides of the channel (positive vs negative, right vs left, throttle vs brakes) differently/independently.

Oh you are a life saver, honestly this is a fantastic demonstration. Also sort of amazing that there's quite a few diferent ways to have the same end result with this transmitter and edgeTX

Thanks for watching! Yes, radios running EdgeTX are very versatile and full of possibilities. But this system is a bit different to the "standard" radios and can be overwhelming at times. Have fun with your MT12!

Thanks this helped me make a "cruise control" with s2 pot mixed with throttle instead of steering

I can't get Josh's version to work using the S1/S2, (only works with trim tabs for some reason) the advantage of his setup is it's global so it applies to all models, whereas you have to clone this model or setup these settings for each new model. Great video! Very helpful!

Thanks for watching and taking the time to write the comment! I am glad the video was helpful to you. The goal was to have an easy to do setup which is flexible at the same time. The setup can be adapted to every model, you can control the two sides of a channel differently without fuzzing around with global variables and flight/drive modes. With this video I simply wanted to show that this is possible and how it is done. Thanks again for watching!

@@arminrc actually I was able to get JB’s method working on S1 and S2 (it was the precision setting) and I believe your method is way easier. 1. JB’s method isn’t “global” you have to setup the global variable and special functions per model. 2. You can’t put a curve on a global variable so with JB’s method I only get half of the pots range 3. Your setup is faster. Personally, I don’t have much use for the different rate on left and right side but it would be great if there was a way to add a pop up while adjusting. Great job and THANK YOU!!!!

Quickly becoming my go to channel for MT12 tutorials. How did you become so familiar with this edge TX system?

Can you please do this for a drag brake adjustment. I was trying to combine this video with your rate video but I can’t figure it out. Instead of slow down on steering, let it be on throttle. And adjustable with a knob. So pulling on the trigger will be normal but letting go of the trigger has slow down. And let this only work on the x>0 side.
