this and atomic heart both have very cool design, plot, and clean combat. Don't know why they both seem to not be very popular, but still not a flop at least ig.

Don't know about Atomic Heart, but I think Control only ever appealed to people who were either fans of Alan Wake or X Files/SCP style fiction. Regarding the first group, there are also people who dislike Remedy's attempt to create a shared AW/Control universe, as they see it as "diluting" Alan Wake's essence (talked with some of them online after the release of AW2).

@MaylocBrittinorum the thing about this game is that there is just too much text to read to understand shit, and the thing about Alan Wake 2 is too much singing and irrelevant characters, and too little shooting gameplay 💀. I Hope these series won't be buried for decades.
