Lets keep it real. Joystick players have a huge advantage. Kbm players have an advantage only when mastering the kbm. Im a kbm player but i could never play with the joystick its too hard for me.

The way I see it is the kbm learning curve is much harder, but after mastering it you have the ability to turn the car faster and more accurately than on controller, making it better for freestyling, getting immense flicks, quick resets, accurate flip cancels, and the like. But controller is much easier to learn and can get really good, but the flicks and high level stuff is much harder to get consistently. That’s my feeling as a controller player.

Personally I play on kbm and I am a champ 2 so I’m an average rank but I would argue I have decent mechanics so I would say personally kbm is better because I have tried controller a couple times and I never got used to it although I used to play Xbox a lot before I switched to pc about a year ago where I started playing the game
