Works well, but it's changed with the new update. You go to the "GC Pad" on the top right (split into GC Pad and WiiMote from Controllers) and input what you stated in the video.

@@EpicGamersubscribe I don't know. Look up a way to turn D input to X input on whatever system you're using. Everything I can tell you is that D input is unacceptable and there HAS to be a way to translate it to X input

the gamecube has wacky shoulder buttons where how hard you push determines how powerful your attack is which is used in mario sunshine and luigis mansion, so how do you set up the shoulder buttons to have the same input as the gamecube controllers?

I know this video is kinda old but I just recently downloaded dolphin to play Smash Bros Melee, and and I’m using my wireless switch pro controller since I found out it can be used via Bluetooth, but I’m having trouble calibration the left control stick, it stress off more to the left than the right and it makes it kind of wonky. If by chance you know a solution give me a reply and let me know what I should do, it’d be much appreciated!

When I plug in 3 controllers, dolphin automatically distributes x/input/0 to two controllers which causes one controller to control 2 ingame players...Any idea to solve that? I use ps4 controllers and DS4Windows

Mapping the controller keys make absolutely no sense for me. I'm using a ps2 designed usb controller for PC. When I click for example SQUARE, it says 'Axis Y+' as being the button. There are several cases alike with other buttons. Also, the stick moving thing doesn't work. The dots dont move when I move the sticks, but when I try and bind for example the right stick, it says UP=I, DOWN=K, LEFT=J, RIGHT=L. And what do I do with my R1/R2/L1/L2 triggers?

Do you have any issues with trigger sensitivity? whenever I try to play supermario sunshine and try to use the trigger it reads it as a full trigger press rather than a half one if thats understandable. Like its either fully pressed or not at all.

Hi, great tutorial! Clear and well explained. I have a problem setting up my USB gamecube controller... when I try to set the control stick, it registers together with the D Pad buttons. For example, when I move the stick up, the D-pad "up" button lights up (and viceversa). Same is happening with the C stick and buttons A,B,X,Y. So when I play my game and move the sticks, the game thinks I'm pressing the buttons too. Very annoying! Do you have some idea on how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

I haven't tried it, but if you use a micro USB to regular USB cable and plug it in to your wireless Xbox One controller you can connect it to your computer in one of its USB slots. It should work.

My suggestion: spend that $20-$30 and get a Wii controller set because it’s plug and play with no tingling and 70% of wii games required motion. Also get a $20 Mayflash sensor bar and you’ll have a complete Wii system set up on your pc.
