Never seen a wing-back win it but my wing-back finished second once. I was playing him as a CWB on attack in a 5ATB as the side's primary creator and he got 20 assists in the league, 35 g/a total and a 7.85 average rating

You should try this where you select the stats and try and get a WB to win the balon dor. Maybe giving max free kicks, pens and corners to try and bump up the numbers. Would be interested to see if a WB can win it as I’ve never seen it personally.

Try a giant cb with high values for penalties to get lots of goal from corners and pens. Make them from a major nation and they might captain their county to an international comp

To win the ballon dor with a defender he has to win the league, Champions league and maybe a worl cup or Euros... It happened once while Coaching Mancity and We won the treble but and ruben dias won the euros ... Next season he won the ballon dor

I really like these scenarios. But a 90 CA 16 year old with 200 PA is absolutely ridiculous. He'll be a stud no matter WHAT you do. Maybe introduce a system in which his potential grows if he wins titles? Starts with a 'modest' 160 and goes on from there.

With this current setup, the build up to the big leagues is too quick. Benfica and Milan are no small clubs and honestly I think he'd perform regardeless of your pick. Having him slowly grind and making more moves would make for a more interesting video.

i like this concept, if he can't win it a season like he had with newcastle it is almost impossible. i've had trent have like 25 assists yet nowhere near the top 3, it just is almost impossible for a defender to get there.

Just like real life a Ballon D'or probably wont happen unless they're a Striker, Winger, or CAM. Maybe a Center Midfielder if youre lucky but a full back, center back and especially a GoalKeeper seems nigh Impossible.

Yeah strange that Thomas Tuchel is a good Manager on Football Manager. He just managed to guide Bayern in their worst form to a CL semi final. Squad problems are not even his fault. During last years summer transfer window, he complained that their squad isn't good/deep enough and still here we are. He's a brillant Manager but often disliked for his persona i guess.
