Thanks for the video! We have lots here along the trails in Saskatchewan. This will help me get rid of them. I plan on using the girdling method in the spring and summer before the berries are mature. Also pulling young plants.

I was told that goats love eating buckthorn and if youkeep moving them around they will graduate defeat them

The process is correct but way too tedious if you really have a buckthorn problem. Chemical control is much more efficient.

No they are a non profit and they recommend the hardest way to address it. All non profits do this and is why problem is so great
