How people are using 'dirty tactics' as a point to diminish balls performance is ridiculous. Used his weight and distance to his advantage and was a clear winner by the end of the fight. Reaction from fans an top level athletes involved in the sport proves why a lot of people have lost interest in boxing. Only fortunate thing was the joshua fight to lift the spirits back up, from round 6 onwards ball dominated with questionable early knock downs (1 being a drag an hit but still counted an the other being a clear knockdown), what more can a fighter do to become champion? The jumping on the shoulders and reaction from vargas was comical including the comment that ball had the 'home fans' being a 7 hour flight away was beyond me. Not a robbery but definitely didn't give boxing as a sport to the majority of fans a good representation of the corrupt judging accusations an the sport as a whole.

Rey Vargas outboxed Ball, Rey Vargas won with all the odds stacked against him. Nick Ball is a dirty fighter he was wrestling, hitting in the back of head, giving a lot of low blows, and putting all his weight on Rey. To be honest that draw was a gift for Nick Ball DAZN wasn’t gonna give Nick his first loss. Rey Vargas came to DAZN and he a PBC fighter so of course the commentators gonna ride Nick hard since Nick is with DAZN. This was all set up for Ball to win and he came up short just look at Nick’s face when they was reading the score cards he knew he got beat.
