Also, the whole deal with the CARS Tour rules and the NASCAR rules kinda reminded me of the CARS Tour race at Franklin County last year. Mike Looney showed up with a NASCAR-legal car and shattered the track record in qualifying over the CARS Tour regulars. Then Kyle Dudley finished P2 while being NASCAR-legal. Good shit.

I I protested a guy one time that was a 10th place car but walked away from the field that night. They took the win, moved the guy that was second up to first, me up to second, and its supposed to be anonymous lol.... but that dude wouldnt talk to me, and so two weeks later he hooked me on the right rear when I was passing him....

Enjoy it buddy. Time flies. I miss racing late models everyday. Life got in the way and it got cut short. Ran 2nd in a 100 lapper one time with a broken head gasket. Drivers were complaining about us spraying water but we couldn’t find the problem. Think we had a 26 car field that night and there were enough cautions to allow my motor to cool down each time. Had there not been we would’ve overheated for sure. Think we got the final green flag with 10 to go. Could’ve ran him dirty and maybe had a chance to win but was definitely down on HP.

I have been thrown out 3 times and only gave the trophy back once because I broke a black and white rule and I knew I was dead wrong. The other 2 times they just didn't like how we inferred the loosely written engine rules 😂 but they made them legal in the end.
