For several years I was on a zoning board in a small town. When it came to public meetings we were informed as to what was required. Not following protocol was a violation of the Open Meetings Act. We were an advisory board and did not handle finances but were aware of the rules. There seems to be a bottomless pit of violations in Dolton.
