@@watsonjairos7076 Are you referring to the "Earth" logo in the upper left of the page? If so, to be clear, that's your logo, so you likely won't want to get rid of a logo in your header area as that's going to be expected on your website pages. To remove (or modify), go to your website page > click the "Customize" button at the top of your page, assuming you're logged into your WordPress site as an admin. Next, on the left-hand side of the page that opens, select "Header Builder" > in the bottom of that page, you should see a section called "Site Title & Logo". Click on that to edit/modify, or click the "x" on that section to remove it entirely.

Yes, you can set up a redirect from your old website to your new one. If you're using WordPress, you can do this easily with a plugin like "Redirection". This way, visitors to the old site will be automatically directed to the new one.

Just gaining a basic understanding about how something works can seem daunting sometimes. If you throw in too many things at once, towards those who don't know anything at all about a subject, they could quickly feel overwhelmed or get the wrong impression that the subject may be too difficult or time consuming, to learn. Once the beginner gains a firm handle on the basics of how WordPress works, then he or she will be able to, with confidence & gusto, learn these other more advanced topics (if they desire to do so) on another video intended for more advanced students.

Thank you so much for this, awesome. Literally the best tutorial yet. No offense but the structure is a bit convoluted as far as editing everything but I think I'm getting the hang of it. Had to write it out in outline form to get it together in my head. You install the theme, then a plugin that uses another plugin, but its free version so there are some work arounds and you don't edit everything in the same place, Whew! I'm having trouble with my site title. So i hit CUSTOMIZE > HEADER BUILDER > SITE TITLE & LOGO > DESIGN tab > TITLE COLOR then change my colors as needed of normal and hover. All is good. So to save the changes I press PUBLISH right? cuz when i X out it reverts back to white and does not save. Very frustrating. Everything else seems to save. I even tried it in MS Edge instead of Firefox but no go. How do I fix please? Thank you.

I dunno what i did but it sticks now. So I had almost everything done over in wix editor x, but I abandoned that for personal reasons and went this route but I'm trying to recreate what I had hoping I could when you said we can create anything. I have a home page with a hero section with 4 identical(style wise) columns. They just have a title. So there i want a button and a small divider graphic to appear and animate out from the center. So the title is above the divider which is now above the button. In editor X i put all 3 in center hid the bottom 2 then when I hovered over column I can trigger other animations in other items. So Id make their before and after state easy. How can I do this here? Also are their more advanced image galleries? When I click on an image and it pops up I'd like to have ability to turn on/off details on the right like Title, Description, then have spot underneath to put images of icons to show the software i used. How do you edit this secondary state of the gallery? Seems hidden. Thank you so much for this and the help!!!!@@TylerMoore

Amazing Content! I'm halfway done and I'm really impressed. My question is that technically we design our website through Elementor which is a widget of WordPress. Is there any "danger" with it? I mean we can only edit our website through the plug in and not WordPress itself. Would it be an issue in the long run? I hope you can understand my question/concern. WordPress is a website builder and elementor is a plugin usually known as page builder. There is no issue of using it for long time.

Starter templates does not work for me. After editing my page when I try to go back to my page it displays a white screen and won't load. The only way I have gotten it to work is by uninstalling the plugin which I do not want to do because I am using one of the themes. Any recommendations?

In one of the intial steps after downloading Starter Templates, I choose Word Press Block editor instead of Elementor. Is there any way to change it? You can reset your site using the "WP Reset" plugin. It will erase all the content and settings, allowing you to start fresh. After resetting, you can choose the desired template with Elementor.

The last time I built a website, many years ago, I created my site using desktop software entirely disconnected from the hosting service and even from internet, then upload it to a host (at the time, FatCow). I see things are different now, with WordPress integrated into hosting sites so that this process is seamless. I cancelled my WordPress account and switched to a hosting site with this integration (BlueHost). Now everything makes sense. Thanks again for taking the time to respond directly to my comment.
