Nice video,Trey! I was curious why you left out “vertical velocity” or “omega” as a useful parameter to analyze at 700MB. It is very useful!

Thank you! I’m going to make an episode toward the end about “other” maps/parameters you can use, and that will probably be grouped in there. I’ll be honest, I don’t find it that useful, as vertical motion can be diagnosed in other, more effective ways.

@@ConvectiveChronicles Personally, I find it useful in assessing regimes that display lift. Then analyze what is causing the indicated lift through further analysis. But I understand your point. Another question, will you do any videos on isentropic analysis?
